The Group celebrates the Jersey Mike's Sub new opening in Charlotte Douglas International Airport

The point of sale opened in the airport’s Atrium in partnership with global restaurateur HMSHost.

An exciting milestone

The popular sandwich shop offers to the 120,000 daily passengers another favorite eating spot in the terminal. This marks the 125th location in North Carolina. It’s exactly 25 years since the first restaurant opening in the State.

At Jersey Mike's Subs, it's all about quality. What makes this fast-casual sub shop so good it's the ingredients: high quality meats and cheese sliced, store baked bread, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oil, vinegar and spices. Moreover, everything is served in Mikes' Way with a smile, so it's a pleasure for travelers enjoy the delicious moment.

The beginning

All started in 1956 with the name of Mike's Subs and a small shop in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, when there were very few franchise restaurants or hamburger chains.

The charity sentiment: feeling good about doing good

Every store Jersey Mike’s opens starts by partnering with a charity in the local community.
In this occasion Jersey Mike’s made a donation to Grace-Mar Services Inc., a not-for-profit with a mission to provide education, counseling, and professional networks to displaced workers, minorities and low to moderate income families.
Grace-Mar Services’ Upward Mobility programs and services have created multiple employment opportunities giving these individuals an opportunity to achieve financial literacy, job readiness, placement opportunities, and self-empowerment.

For fully enjoy this collaboration, also the HMSHOST Foundation made this own donation to Grace-Mar Services Inc. It works to fight poverty in the local community with food, shelter, education, and workforce development opportunities. These donations support their future of working together to make a difference in the lives of many throughout the Charlotte area community.
