Autogrill has received a Premio Crescita Digitale Award promoted by Accenture in collaboration with Gruppo 24 ORE for companies which exploit digital technologies to boost growth and innovation. During the prize giving event yesterday evening, Autogrill’s e-Invoicing project was given the Making Markets Award for innovation through services offered to customers who have a VAT number and often travel on business.
The e-Invoicing project was chosen by a jury chaired by Nòva24 journalist Luca Tremolada and comprising Carlo Alberto Carnevale Maffè, who teaches Business Strategy at Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Elio Catania, president, Confindustria Digitale, Andrea Ghizzoni, Country Director, WeChat Italy, Massimiliano Magrini, co-founder and managing partner, United Ventures, Claudia Parzani, Capital Markets Partner, Linklaters, and Antonio Samaritani, general manger, AgID - Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale.
The projects nominated for the award came from various sectors: consumer goods, manufacturing goods, banks, insurance, media, TLC, utilities, pharmaceuticals and public administration.
The award has four categories: Making markets for companies which make significant advances in the digital market in Italy, Running Enterprise for projects that achieve the best results in terms of digitalizing business processes, Sourcing Input for the best digital project in the field of production factor sourcing, and Fostering Enablers for companies which provide development of digital skills in Italy.
