Autogrill Group wins 3 prizes at FAB Awards 2014

For the fourth year running Autogrill is one of the winners of FAB Awards

For the fourth year running Autogrill is one of the winners of FAB Awards, the international “Oscars” for the food & beverage sector in travel channels organized by the business intelligence magazine “The Moodie Report”.

This year’s event took place in Copenhagen, where the Group picked up 3 prestigious awards at the award ceremony on Tuesday 10 June, having gained top rankings in the categories

Airport Fast Food/Quick Service Restaurant of the Year, with the concept 8 oz Burger Bar in Los Angeles airport
Best CSR Initiative, with the project Food Donation Program delivered in the US
The Judges' Award for Thought Leadership in Food & Beverage.

In 2013:

The Group won five awards in the categories:

  • Best Railway station F&B Offer Award for new Bistrot Milano Centrale, a collaboration between Autogrill and the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, opened in the first months of the previous year in Milan Central Station. 
  • Best Airport Wine Bar for the store Cru, introduced by HMS Host in partnership with its creator Patrick Colombo inside the Denver International Airport. 
  • Best Airport Food Court for the catering offer proposed by HMSHost inside the International Hartsfield-Jackson Altanta. 
  • Best Digital / Media Initiative Award for Vyaggio, the application created by Autogrill and downloadable on smartphones or directly online 
  • Best Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility for Afuture, the Autogrill program on sustainability that is based on three fundamental pillars: People, Product and Planet.

In 2012:

Autogrill won three awards, ranking first place in the categories:

  • Best Fast Food / Quick service restaurant for the concept Tortas Frontera inserted by HMSHost in Chicago O'Hare International Airport; 
  • Best digital or social media initiative with the application Vyaggio; 
  • Best food & beverage concession program for the catering offer at Amsterdam's Schipol.

In 2011:

Autogrill Group received two awards:

  • The first, Best Wine Bar-Led Offer, for the concept Beaudevin Wine & Tapas, located at the airport of Brussels. 
  • The second, Best Overall Design and F & B facilities, for the variety, accessibility and innovation of concepts in the Dutch airport Schiphol.
