Autogrill: the European Commission clears acquisition of 100% of World Duty Free Europe

Milan, 16 May 2008 - The European Commission has cleared the acquisition by Autogrill (Milan: AGL IM) of 100% of World Duty Free Europe Limited from BAA Limited as compatible with EU antitrust law.

Under the terms of the agreement the operation’s closing date is 21st May 2008.
