Born in 1976 and graduated in Economics with maximum recognition from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, Manuela Franchi achieved a Master’s Degree in Economics from Rotterdam University and attended an Executive Education Program at Columbia University, New York.
She started her career in the investment banking sector at Goldman Sachs in London in 2000 and later at Bank of America Merrill Lynch before in London and after in Milan in 2007. During these 16 years she focused primarily on risk management and rating advisory as well merger & acquisitions and related financing before in the Telecom and Media sectors in EMEA and after for Italian clients.
In 2016 she joined doBank, later converted into doValue S.p.A., where she worked as CFO until May 2020, when she was appointed also General Manager. In doValue she led the IPO of the Group in 2017 on the Italian Stock Exchange and its subsequent expansion abroad with the creation of the start-up doValue Hellas in 2018 and the acquisitions of Altamira (operating in Spain, Portugal and Cyprus) in 2019 and doValue Greece (active in the Greek market) in 2020 and related financings. She is part of the Board of Directors of both companies.
