Born in 1978, he holds a degree in Business Administration and Finance at University of Basel. He began his professional career in 1999 as Assistant Group Treasurer at Danzas Management AG, and then held the same position at Bucher Industries AG Group from 2003 to 2006.
In 2006, he joined Dufry AG, first as Global Head Group Treasury and, then, in 2019 he assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer.
