Satement for the press

Milan, 28 January 2004 - Regarding reports published in the press today, Autogrill S.p.A. said that at its meeting of January 27, 2004, the Board of Directors did not discuss any project for the sale of its food & beverage outlets on Italian motorways.
No projects of this kind have been examined during previous meetings of the company’s governing bodies, nor has the company commissioned any studies or analyses in this connection.
