Accordingly, store management systems have been developed and refined over the years, with the introduction of new technologies to reduce food waste to a minimum and optimize the handling of raw materials.
To reduce food waste even further, we will be focusing on improvements to our existing monitoring systems in order to decrease the amount of food thrown out.
Currently, leftovers are donated to food banks, where possible, or sold at a discount at the day’s end.
In some European countries, we have partnered with the app “Too Good to Go”, which helps ensure food does not go to waste.
