Major recognition on Italian motorways: Autogrill awarded services contract for Campagnola Ovest

Milano , 05 February 2002 - Autogrill, the world’s leading provider of restaurant services for people on the move, has presented a bid, together with other service providers, for the first tender organized by the motorway company Società Autostradale Brescia - Verona - Vicenza – Padova S.p.A. for restaurant services in the Campagnola Ovest area. Under the terms of the call for bids, no individual operator could be awarded more than one lot; Autogrill has been assigned the lot for the northern area. The Brescia - Verona - Vicenza - Padua motorway stretch is a key artery used by more than 40,000 vehicles every day.
The contract has a five-year term and the new Autogrill Snack Bar will open by the end of February.
