HMSHost awarded food service concession at two Ohio Turnpike travel plazas until 2015

Milano , 04 February 2002 - HMSHost Corporation, the world’s largest provider of food, beverage and retail concessions to the travel industry, announced today that it was recently awarded the food service concession rights at the Middle Ridge and Vermilion Valley travel plazas on the Ohio Turnpike. The Ohio Turnpike is an east – west roadway covering 240 miles between Youngstown and Montpelier. Over 45 million vehicles use the Turnpike annually. The contract term is twelve years with four three-year options. The agreement is expected to generate revenues in excess of $115 million over the life of the contract.
