Milan , 31 May 2013 - Autogrill S.p.A. (Milan: AGL IM) announced today that World Duty Free Group SAU, the Spanish company leading the Group’s Travel Retail & Duty Free business, has entered into a medium/long-term loan agreement for an aggregate amount of €1.25 billion.
The new credit facility will be used to repay the loans made available to WDFG SAU and its subsidiaries and to meet requirements of operating and non-operating business activities.
The credit facility has been arranged and committed by the following banks, acting as Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners: Abbey National Treasury Services Plc (trading as Santander Global Banking & Markets), Bank of America Securities Limited, Banca IMI S.p.A., Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A. (London Branch), Banco Santander S.A. (London Branch), BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, ING Bank N.V. (Milan Branch), Mediobanca International (Luxembourg) S.A., Natixis S.A. (Milan Branch) and UniCredit Bank AG.
Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A., Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and Mediobanca International (Luxembourg) S.A. have acted as Global Coordinator, while Banca IMI is the Facility Agent.
The loan will be utilized by the end of June.
