Autogrill names Aldo Papa General Manager for Italy

Milano , 07 January 2002 - Aldo Papa, 45, is the Autogrill Group’s new General Manager for Italy. Since joining Autogrill in November 2000 as head of Information Technology, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Livio Buttignol, Mr Papa has re-structured and implemented the group information system architecture. Among his duties, he was also responsible for all operations relating to the introduction of the euro in Italy and the other European countries in which Autogrill operates. After graduating in Engineering at Naples University, Mr Papa began his career in Rizzoli Corriere della Sera. He later moved to 3M, working in Brussels for three years as Information Technology Director for Europe and the Middle East. Subsequently, he joined the GS Group as Director of Information Technology, a post he expanded by also assuming responsibility for group logistics. In his new position at Autogrill, Aldo Papa will also be a member of the Group Management Committee.
