Xavier Rossinyol Espel

Born in Barcelona, Rossinyol holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master in Business Administration (MbA) at ESADE (Spain). He obtained a second MBA at the University of British Columbia (Canada and Hong Kong) and a master's degree in business law at Pompeu Fabra University (Spain).

He began his professional career at Areas, Elior Group, where from 1994 to 2004 he held various positions, including Director of Corporate Development. In 2004, he joined Dufry where he first held the role of CFO, until 2012, and then, between 2012 and 2015, Chief Operating Officer EMEA & Asia. From 2015 to 2021, he is CEO of Gategroup and, as of 2022, CEO of Dufry.
