USA: Autogrill with HMSHost wins contract to provide new food, beverage and retail services at Houston’s George Bush airport

Milan, 30 January 2003 - HMSHost, Autogrill’s North American subsidiary, has been awarded a new concession contract to provide food, beverage and retail services at the George Bush intercontinental airport in Houston, Texas. The airport handles more than 33 million passengers per year, making it one of the 10 largest in the United States.
The contract will run for a term of ten years, over which time Autogrill expects it to generate revenues totaling more than 60 million dollars. Services for the public will feature highly successful food & beverage concepts, including four Starbucks Coffee stores, and retail outlets based on themes connected with the city of Houston (home of the NASA space agency).
The various locations will begin operating over the next few months, from February until the end of 2003.
