Autogrill closes sale of Alpha Flight to Dnata

Milan , 31 December 2010 - Autogrill S.p.A. (Milan: AGL IM) today closed the sale of 100% of the shares in its UK flight catering services subsidiary, Alpha Flight Group Ltd, to Dnata, a leading international airport services and travel operator headquartered in Dubai. The transfer was given anti-trust clearance by the European Commission on 17th December.

Dnata paid Autogrill a price of GPB101.3 million (€118.6m), the sum stipulated at the time of the agreement revalued as at completion date. Dnata also takes over the Alpha Flight Group Ltd’s debt.
