Ernesto Albanese

Independent Director elected by minority list

Born in Naples in 1964, Ernesto Albanese graduated in Political Sciences and International Economics from the Federico II University of Naples and completed his education with a master’s degree in Services Marketing from Unioncamere (Consortium of Italian Chambers of Commerce). Later he attended specialist courses at SDA Bocconi and the London Institute of Marketing.

He has over 30 years of experience, mostly gained working as a top manager in public and private companies in different service sectors, especially transport, accommodation and sport.

During his professional career, he worked in Alitalia and Seat Pagine Gialle, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer in Eurofly S.p.A., was the General Director of Coni Servizi S.p.A., Chief Executive Officer of Atahotels and the Fondiaria-Sai Group, and General Director of the Organizing Committee of the 2020 Olympic Games in Rome.

He is the founder and CEO of Fattore Italia S.r.l. and entrepreneur in the management of university residences through the company CampusX S.r.l., of which he is also the CEO.

He is an independent board member in Autogrill S.p.A., Geox S.p.A., HRC S.p.A. (the owner of the Mandarin Oriental Lake Como Hotel, controlled by the Attestor Capital LLP fund), of the training consortium Consorzio di Formazione ELIS, and of the Italian Tennis Federation.

Since 2005 he has been the founder and president of L’Altra Napoli Onlus, an association that promotes projects in favor of young people living in distressed Naples neighborhoods.

In 2007, he was awarded the title of Commendatore (Commander) of the Italian Republic.
